I do not remember my math teacher’s name, but I remember the life lesson that he taught me.

I had been studying at the same school since grade 2 and I have always been in a class which was known to have the most unruly students of the school. Despite this, I was not an unruly student. I liked to be part of class B because there was a spirit of camaraderie. But that is another story.

There was something about my unruly colleagues who the teachers and the school board did not know. Do you want to know what? They made noise when they did not like a teacher. Unfortunately, the math teacher was on the top of the list. That’s why math lessons were difficult to understand and I had to pay much attention.

My math teacher had a different way to react. He gave his lessons as if he did not matter with the noise and only cleared doubts of students with good behavior. When an unruly student presented his doubts, the math teacher said that he already explained the matter. I would like to ask why he did not take an attitude to stop the noise, but I never had courage.

Last year, I was in a situation that reminded me of my math teacher and I finally found out the most important lesson that he taught me: Never let some people’s behavior affect your work.

Which was the most important lesson your school teacher taught you?
